I got them!
This is the picture my friend sent me from America when she got them, and I literally cried. At the weekend I had a sleepover with her (absolutely epic - we watched Ouran High School Host Club then read tons of weird FanFics xD) and she gave them to me. I've been wearing them all weekend!
Two small points - You can hear the motor on them, and the clip on the ear makes quite an indent (hurts a bit), but in all honesty for me it's totally worth it! I'm happy to withstand minor pain and motor noises in order to have moving ears!
My tail and fox ears for it should arrive soon I hope, and something I've realised about them is this: They take 4 AAA batteries at a time, and they do last for a long time, however I tend to have them on the entire day, which I don't think they're intended for. They would definitely last through a convention, but what I plan to do is get rechargeable AAA batteries. Although they're fairly expensive, in the long run it'll save me a lot of money in batteries, especially as I intend to use these basically every day as part of my usual clothing.
So far I've worn them to school, and everyone seems amazed by them. they're super soft too, and although it takes a while to drill it in that they do not read my mind or my mood they are not based on the actual thoughts, my friends think they're incredible, and have had much fun in asking me difficult math questions to watch them prick up as I focus on them haha.\
REMINDER: These ears DO NOT read your mind or mood! They move according to brain activity AKA how focused/relaxed you are! This is still incredible technology but THEY DO NOT MOVE ACCORDING TO MOOD x
I'll add more pictures soon!
